More on Mind from India
I believe that humand mind is uncontrollable in the normal course. Indian philosphy also recognizes this. However , there are techniques which can enable a self (what a self is is a very deep question!) to control the mind i.e. start and stop thinking at will and what to think and what to focus single pointedly. It is a very interesting art. It is a treasure! Pity that it is lying almost unclaimed!
Today being sunday I got into mood to write something...swantsukhay (in Sanskrit, the ancient Indian language, meaning for one own's pleasure)
I would like to interact with as many people around the globe to share the pleasure pof sharing the knowledge.

I believe someone needs to be spiritually oriented to understand these deep truths abour life. However It is difficult to believe and feel that your mind can behave in a manner which is indepedent of 'you'. It is more like an admission that we are all 'mad'. But I appreciate your contention that western philosphy puts too much emphasis on mind while occidentals push through a case of higher power thanmind.
more later...
quite good background, pls write some morew of your inspiring articles.
I am spiritually inclined but fail to understand your theory. It might take some time for me to really give it a deep thought.
I'll elaborate in detail when I get some quiet time....
